1. Metro Manila Skyway
The longest bridge of all located at the National Capital Region with 10 km long and 17 km long including Bicutan-Alabang section. It is an air highway in Metro, Manila, and the oldest furnished highway in the country. It crosses over existing South Luzon Expressway (SLEX).
2. Cebu-Cordova Link Expressway (CCLEX)
Opened at April 20, 2022, Cebu-Cordova Link Expressway can load up to 55,000 vehicles on a daily basis. Costing P33-billion, extends in 8.5 km. Its height is about 145 meters up into the sky. The main section is supported by its two towers.
3. Candaba Viaduct
Popularly known as “Pulian-Apalit Bridge”, Candaba Viaduct is in North Luzon Expressway (NLEX). It has four lanes and five kilometers length. The design itself came from the brilliant mind of Aas-Jakobsen. The fact is the bridge is elevated at the Candaba Swamp making it traffic less even with floods.
4. San Juanico Bridge
More than just a city landscape, San Juanico Bridge is the third longest bridges in the Philippines with a length of 2.16 km. This connects Samar and Leyte. Its truss is in arch shape ranging on a steel girder viaduct. It is part of the Pan-Philippine Highway and stretches from Samar to Leyte across San Juanico Strait. A steel girder viaduct is its longest length, and its main span is of an arch-shaped truss design. All types of vehicles are welcome to pass by here.
5. Narciso Ramos Bridge
Down to the Province of Pangasinan, Ilocos, Narciso Ramos Bridge connects the is towns of Asingan and Sta. Maria in the province of Pangasinan. This is one of the most prestigious projects of the late President Fidel V. Ramos in 1997 with 1.442 km.
6. Buntun Bridge
Spanding over the largest river basin in the country, the Cagayan, River, it stretches from Tuguegarao City to Solana with a length of 1.369 km. This bridge is the entrance to Tuguegarao City. Sturdy enough to carry up until 18 tons of vehicles. It is one of the projects of Construction and Development Corporation of the Philippines (now the Philippine National Construction Corporation), which worth 4.6 million-dollar.
7. Patapat Viaduct
Patapat viaduct is Located at the municipality of Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte. Known for its scenic view that bridges the Maharlika Highway from Ilocos Region to Cagayan Valley. It covers two traffic lanes, elevated over sea by 31 meters with a length of 1.3 km. Finished in 1986, it was constructed by Hanil Development Co, Ltd. The said viaduct is also a project under Marcos administration, the goes with San Juanico Bridge.
8. Marcelo Fernan Bridge
A collaboration between the Japanese Government is the Marcelo Fernan Bridge in Metro Cebu. Stretching in the length of 1.237 km, it is a cable-stayed bridge type. is an extra-dosed cable-stayed bridge. It is a link between mainland Cebu and Mactan and functional now for 23 years.
9. Magat Bridge
Completed in 1991, the Magat Bridge is established in Cabatuan, Isabela. It was one of the projects of the Aquino administration. It bends with a length of 0.936 km.
10. Macapagal Bridge
Funded by Japan bank for International Cooperation for the people in Butuan. Another steel cable-stayed bridge in the country. It was also known as Butuan Bypass Road. The longest bridge in Mindanao with a length of 0.9076 km. It has a length of 0.9076 km subjoining the Butuan-Cagayan-Iligan Road and the Philippine-Japan Friendship Bridge.
